Most blog sites....most blogs it seems are largely rants...

"I'm pissed off about", "the problem with the world is"...they don't have solutions, they aren't celebrations of the wonders of this world.

I want to thank not only Zaadz, but Zaadzters....

If you keep up this pace of positive, educational, inspirational, enlightening, entertaining blogs we will change the world.

Reading your thoughts, your concerns, your visions, will change peoples views.

So many read the paper and watch the news and perceive the world as evil as a result, the truth is 99.9999% of the poplulation are loving caring people. 0.000001% make the news, they have issues and most of all, they need our love and understanding to grow from where they are.

Sure we aren't all we should be all the time...but just knowing others are on the path will help us to stay on and help us to help others...

THANK YOU!!!!!

NAMASTE!!!!!!

The light in me recognizes and salutes the light in you!

Thanks Will.
I agree. It’s great to be walking the path with you.
We all know that there are problems. But growth is in finding the solutions.
Why waste out time on anything else.

Namaste!

Well said Will! There is an old chinese proverb I’m sure we are all familiar with - “Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness” (goes well with Buddha’s “Be a light unto yourself”).

Zaadz and Zaadzters  are helping to light the way, with energy and compassion, and that rocks.  Yes we can be (in fact, for me, it’s a must) aware of and talk about  the worlds so called ‘problems’  - 10 000 000 000 animals killed needlessly for food in the US annually, racism, corporate greed, global warnming, loss of biodiversity - but cursing the darkness solves nothing.  See it as it is, accepting  it with equanimity, and responding with wisdom, compassion and love is what we need.

Namaste :)

Ryan

Ryan……..Love the “Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness”…….Love It

Wil…….I feel so priveleged to be a part of this……….of this movement……of Zaadz……this blog…….and all the wonderful people here.

It helps me feel like I am not “just” complaining, but actually doing what I can to help this change occur.  I know that I am not doing much now…………not what I think I am truly capable of………but being here helps me feel like I am getting a good start towards my goal……….of wanting to help change the world……by first changing me :-)

wow, that’s great. here’re two things that your writing just reminded me of. One of my teachers said, every man’s a respectable person unless he proves otherwise. And Holy Quran said, we are but reflections of divine light capable of bringing light and harmony to rest of everyone of us as well. This is so very true and yet we often forget it that as much as everyone of us needs to be loved, everyone of us is capable of loving as well and giving hope and light to others just as much as we need that. Kindda “Pay It Forward” style, eh? :) Thanks for reminding all of that :)

namaste all, muchas gracias, you are so kind.  Yuri and ej we welcome you like old friends, it is this energy that you bring that causes us to move forward and contribute.  Much like a fight where each punch elicits another punch, each act of kindness and grace positions us to ‘pay it forward’…blessings

Wonderful thoughts Wil…and I agree…words are more than just text lying…we can re-create what it means to “RANT”…in a way that answers questions, provoks discussions, and inspires learning…just by being ourselves…just as we are…warts and all.
Lovely!

“All the music I write is a search for myself.”     -Bruce Hornsby

I feel very much the same about blogging. And I agree with you 100% about the majority of blogs out there. I have wanted to try a shot at this blogging thing for over a year now, but as I shopped around for the place to do so, most of what I found was doom and gloom. On a rare occasion I’d happen along a gem that really spoke to the positive. After much looking I finally surrendered with a prayer that I be lead to the perfect place to share my heart with the world. God works in funny ways because the answer to my prayer was an Ipod I received for Christmas….. which lead me to ITunes…. which lead me to podcasts…. which lead me to Zaadz pod…. and to Zaadz. Now I get to play with my ideas in a space that feels supportive and safe, while inspirational and intellectually challenging.

Alan Cohen writes in his book, ”A Deep Breath Of Life” of an author of a Buddhist text who confessed, “I have no pretension that I am writing this book for any purpose other than my own awakening.” It makes me wonder how many great minds aren’t sharing simply because they can’t find the right place to do so. And how much healing of their minds and spirits could take place if they did. I pray they find their way to Zaadz.

Namaste

Shelly ………..Welcome to Zaadz!  I had a similar experience about a year and a half ago…..with being led to Zaadz.  I had read a book “As A Man Thinketh” by James Allen…

I was new to philosophy, but loved it and wanted to know more.  My search for more on James Allen led me to “Thinkarete.com” and then to Zaadz.  Tis an awesome place……led by some pretty cool dudes…….

Thanks Heidi….. so glad to meet you…… and all the other kindred spirits here at Zaadz. Really glad! I’d be curious to hear someday how many people were lead here by “synchronicity”.
