Namaste all.
G-d Bless the Whole World....NO EXCEPTONS
Dali Lama says,
'You know you are enlightened
when everyone you see,
you see as enligthened.'
My minister added,
'So I went to the mall to see how far I have to go!'
Namaste- The LIGHT in me salutes and recognizes the LIGHT in you'
Now reread this substituing for the word 'light' in places the following words...
Wisdom, Love, Understanding, Compassion...
(whoa....not so fast...if you are gonna read the blog....do the exercises!)
The wisdom in me salutes and recognizes the wisom...
The love in me..
ok now onto some more....
G-d, Krishna, Buddha, Christ, Allah, Mohamed,Great Spirit....
and more...
Mother, Consciousness, Enlightened portion...
(lol....don't you like 'portion'?)
What resonates with you? What makes you feel more alive?
Now the challenge....practice it with everyone you see, everyone you meet, everyone you encounter, especially, especially those that you are in perceived turmoil with...those who are getting on your last nerve...
Can we?
Yes with practice....
Remember when you can't see the LIGHT in someone else....it is because you have closed yourself to the LIGHT in yourself.... when you see something you dislike in someone else....the mirror has been activated and a portion of you is reflecting....practice seeing the LIGHT (the word that resonates most with your being....experiment with the different words, thoughts and concepts...)
Namaste all!

Help

Incredible blog, Wil. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
I love the idea of practicing on everyone we see. When I was at the meditation retreat over the holidays we had one exercise where we broke up into groups of 5. The facilitator told us to look into the eyes of everyone in our group. And then she said, “This is the face of God as it is appearing in this very moment.”
Thanks for the reminder. Have an amazing day!
How Enlightening.
Simple but powerful, just saying the few suggestions changes my attitude and feelings towards others.
I will probably have some of my friends at work going Huh but I no they will welcome the change from the usual How’s it goin.
We as one.
Thanks Wil I read your Blog regularly keep on sharing I enjoy your posts..
Thanks for that wonderful reminder of seeing the light of everyone..we do sometimes forget..or be caught in the moment of ourselves instead of seeing from the others’ perspective. Or even if we do not agree with others, just keep in silence and let it pass :)
Namaste All ” just saying the few suggestions changes my attitude and feelings towards others.” the power of the word….like a smile, or memory, makes me wonder how many beneficial neuropeptides are created by completing the exercise….anyone have words to add to the exercise? And if we can’t say ‘Namaste’ to someone….we need to look within to find what we need to change to allow us to say it….and believe it….practice allows us to break out of old beliefs….
hmm…this reminds me of “the oberver is the observed” meaning if we are truly awake, present, then so is everyone else as far as we are concerned..thank you wil..this is a great practice. if i can’t see the (fill in word for the indescribable divine spark) in others, there is “work” to do within me…namaste!
Bright Moments,
Namaste might cause me to really be able to deal with the world in a more SELFISH manner. When the elders told me to be selfish on my journey some thirty years ago Idid not understand at first. Thank you wil for being there.

A Point Within
————–
Within each of us is a point where all of us meet. And within that point is a place where we are all
one simple essence. That is the soul of the moshiach within us.
If so, the person who we will call the moshiach does not need to convince us to follow. He only needs
to awaken that sleeping moshiach within each of us. And then we will look and say, “I know this
tzadik. He is the spark I feel awake within me.
That is when we will all be liberated we and all the creation.
